2013 Student Exchange
Ten lucky students, from three different Busselton High Schools were selected to participate in this years exchange. The first stage of the exchange occurred in August when sixteen students from Sugito ventured to Busselton. As there were more students from Sugito this year, four exchange families from 2013 helped with hosting the extra students. The Japanese students attended school with their host brother or sister, were taken sightseeing by BASSCA to enjoy unique experiences around the Busselton / Margaret River area, and spent a weekend with their host families.
During the October school holidays students,along with two leaders, journeyed to Sugito to spend ten days with their host families and experience Japanese lifestyle and culture. While there the students visited elementary schools, spent time with their host families, attended Junior High School with their host brothers or sisters and participated in day trips to Odaiba and Tokyo Disneyland.
